Kamer Overtoom Amsterdam

Hello!My name is Dan, I'm a 30-year old software developer from Scotland. I've been living in this great ground-floor apartment on the Overtoom, Amsterdam, for 5 years now. My current flatmate is moving out for 13 months in order to study, and so I'm looking for a temporary flatmate to live here starting in 2026 (until February 2027). Registration is possible at the address.The apartment is really fantastic, situated in the Oud-West buurt of Amsterdam, one street away from the Vondelpark and surrounded by great shops, restaurants and bars. The tram 1 is also on our doorstep connecting to the city centre and Oost.The room to rent is very spacious - 25m squared - and we have a nice shared kitchen / living area. We also have a private garden (although I'm not a very good gardener, so it's quite overgrown!)In terms of hobbies, I'm in to movies, cooking, playing guitar, and cycling. I have quite a nice small group of friends in the neighbourhood that occasionally come round to cook dinner or play board games -- but I'm also respectful of the space of the folks I live with. I'm for sure not a big party person, and I like the fact that the flat is usually a quiet place to chill out and recharge.
